Background:

A client asked us to run a paid Facebook campaign recruiting customer service representatives for an international brand. The client supplied role details prepared by their marketing manager and asked to launch immediately without a strategy meeting.

Challenge:

The campaign launched with a daily budget of ILS 75 and a total budget of ILS 1500. After several days, the client contacted us and said that some enquiries were not relevant to the role.
Despite the volume of enquiries, the creative and messaging needed refinement to better match the recruitment requirements.

Approach:

We proposed a strategy meeting to review the campaign, messaging, copy and creative. We clarified the role requirements and location so the ads were more focused and easier to understand. The aim was to present the role accurately and attractively to the right audience. Clear, current copy and creative also give advertising systems better context for matching ads to people, supporting more relevant enquiries and controlled costs.

Result:

Recorded results from the two campaigns:
  1. Recruiting customer service representatives:
    • Enquiries: 59
    • Cost per lead: ILS 26.27
    • Total spend: ILS 1,549.83
  2. Recruiting a customer relations coordinator:
    • Enquiries: 104
    • Cost per lead: ILS 7.95
    • Total spend: ILS 826.28

These campaigns highlight the value of clearer messaging, relevant creative and strategy, and timely optimisation. When early results fall short, targeted adjustments can help improve the quality of enquiries and the use of the budget.

The figures are from two campaigns for different roles, not a before-and-after comparison of one campaign. After the messaging changes, the client reported receiving suitable enquiries and asked to stop once enough candidates were available for the next stage.
