Follower growth chart

Project objective:

Build and grow a teachers' social media community through performance-focused paid campaigns, increasing followers, reaching relevant educators and supporting engagement with professional educational content.

The challenge:

The challenge was to reach a specific audience of teachers and educators while maintaining a low cost per new follower and attracting relevant community members.
Engagement also varied through the school year, requiring adjustments around the education calendar.

What we did:

The campaign strategy segmented audiences by interests, teaching subjects, digital behaviour and previous content engagement.
Creative, messaging and audiences were adjusted throughout the activity to improve follower conversion and reduce average cost per result.

The activity combined:
Reach campaigns for new audiences
Engagement campaigns for the existing audience
Remarketing to people who had already engaged with the content

  A focused back-to-school push:

In September 2025, a larger advertising push coincided with the back-to-school period, when educators return to work and look for content, tools and ideas for the new school year.
This period brought increased reach and engagement, alongside a sharp rise in new followers during the month.

 Results:

Across the activity period, the community gained more than 7,230 followers, reached approximately 482 thousand users and recorded more than 1.36 million ad impressions.
The campaigns generated more than 6,700 clicks, with an average cost of ILS 2.06 per new follower and consistent budget efficiency over time.
A key period was September 2025, when a larger back-to-school push targeted teachers and educators.
That month alone brought 2,892 new followers, the highest monthly total in the activity period, at an average cost of ILS 2.07 per follower.
Audiences, creative and messaging were adjusted throughout the activity to improve conversion and attract relevant community members.
Lookalike audiences and remarketing to previous content engagers were the strongest-performing approaches.
The activity supported consistent community growth through broader reach, improved engagement and controlled advertising costs.
The campaigns delivered substantial, sustained growth in the teachers' community during the activity period.
Ongoing optimisation, relevant messaging and activity around key school-year periods supported steady growth and budget efficiency.
